Kush League, a minority-owned, Chicago-based company, will launch its new brand at the upcoming KVL International Flower Ball cannabis expo in Chicago on Nov. 5.

The start-up company is focused on combining cannabis with sports-centered and active lifestyles. Company Co-Founder & CEO Alex Al-Sabah, who began his cannabis journey as cultivator in California, believes the timing is right to promote cannabis and athletics.

The many top athletes who have come forward with their stories of cannabis use, or begun their own companies, are living examples of how to blend sports and cannabis into a goal-oriented lifestyle, Al-Sabah says.

“Our goal is to become a market-leading sports-inspired cannabis brand that services a wide range of consumers and active lifestyle enthusiasts,” says Al-Sabah. “It has always been my dream to combine sports and cannabis, as both played a huge role in my life … The Kush League brand represents those positive attributes.”

Kush League’s line of cannabis products includes unique strains of flowers and pre-rolls, edibles and cannabinoid infused topicals for muscle relief and relaxation; as well as beverages and other products planned for the future.

The brand will be officially unveiled in Chicago at the KVL International Flower Ball on November 5, 2022. Held at CineCity Chicago Studios located west of downtown Chicago, the event will be attended by brands, operators, and cannabis/fashion enthusiasts from across the United States and Canada.
