About Dr. Dmitry Loktionov, Co-Founder
Quanna’s founder Dr. Dmitry Loktionov graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the National University of Ireland in 2014. He was awarded an honours degree in MB, BCh, BAO, LRCP & SI. He later went on to train in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ireland for 4 years, during which time he published multiple research papers in national and international medical journals. Dr. Loktionov has presented in multiple national and international conferences and won prestigious awards for his research presentations.
Moving to London to pursue his interest in holistic and complementary medicines, he started researching the benefits of the Cannabis plant. Dr. Loktionov is keen on combining his knowledge of western conventional medical practices with eastern holistic approaches to diagnose and treat his patients.
About Kate Tikhomirova, Co-Founder
Quanna’s other founder Kate Tikhomirova established herself as a fashion and lifestyle influencer over the last 5 years and during her years living in Los Angeles has become accustomed to the world of CBD. Behind the scenes of fabulous posts overseas and rent-worthy outfits there is the realities of anxiety and insomnia. CBD not only helped Kate relieve her daily pressures, but it was held to the highest esteem when her mother became sick with advanced cancer that Kate really delved into the power of the plant. After seeing her mum in constant pain and agony, after numerous rigorous treatments, the best a caretaker can do is listen to any possibility that can make this better. Kate discovered that CBD helped her mum rest easier and managed her aches without the side effects of stronger sleeping drugs or pain medication. It was eye opening to say the least for it was not a gateway, but a shedding of light on the future for our bodies.
