Expanding Its Reach West, Curaleaf Acquires Nevada’s Tryke

Deal bolsters company’s presence in three key growth markets of Arizona, Nevada and Utah.

Leading international cannabis provider, Curaleaf Holdings, Inc., (CSE: CURA) (OTCQX: CURLF) today announced completing its acquisition of privately held Tryke Companies of Las Vegas, NV. Tryke, which does business in Nevada and Arizona as Reef Dispensaries, was acquired by Curaleaf for US$181 million in total compensation.

Wakefield, MA-based Curaleaf takes control of Tryke’s 4 retail dispensaries in Las Vegas, Sparks and Sun Valley, NV, and its two operations in Phoenix, AZ. Additionally, Curaleaf acquires Tryke’s portfolio of cannabis and CBD products, its processing licenses and Tryke’s 65,000-square feet of cultivation space.

Boris Jordan, founder and executive chairman of Curaleaf, states, “We are pleased to welcome Tryke to the Curaleaf family as we expand our operations and bolster our competitive position in three key growth markets.”

With the close of the transaction, Curaleaf expands its national footprint 21 U.S. states, 144 dispensaries and 29 cultivation sites nationwide. The company’s international arm is the largest vertically integrated cannabis company in Europe with an established supply and distribution network throughout the European market.
