Global Cannabis Times, Global Go, SmartWork Media and Zuber Lawler are proud to announce the launch of Coastal Cannect, a virtual event series bringing together experienced parties from mature legal cannabis markets from both U.S. coasts.

The very first Coastal Cannect event will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 11am-1pm PT / 2-3pm ET. Coastal Cannect is hosted on Airmeet, tickets are $42 and registration is required to attend. Register for the event and book your ticket today!

It’s a very exciting time for cannabis on the East Coast as New York, New Jersey and other states launch their adult-use cannabis markets. At our first Coast Cannect virtual event, entrants in those new East Coast markets can network with and learn from successful operators from the more established West Coast markets like California, Oregon and Washington.

For our first Coast Cannect, we’ll focus on the first hurdle to launching a successful cannabis venture—licensing. It takes the right team to put together a winning license application, and then launch and operate a successful cannabusiness. With video chat removing geographic boundaries, we are excited to help “cannect” experienced parties from mature markets on the West Coast, with applicants and service providers on the East Coast working towards their own cannabis licenses and opportunities.

Coastal Cannect events will take place once a month for 1-2 hours and each meeting will feature the following:

• Participants will be identified as West Coast (WC) or East Coast (EC) and present a 1-2 word description of their primary role in the industry (e.g. “Jon EC Attorney”) to facilitate connections.
• There will be a 5-10 minute quick recap of the current status of the New York, New Jersey and other East Coast markets.
• There will be multiple 12-20 minute breakout sessions where attendees can join small groups in virtual tables organized by license type in a particular state (e.g. New York Retail Table 1, New Jersey Cultivation Table 1 etc.), as well as side tables for 1:1 meetings when meaningful connections are made.

We only get one chance to launch the cannabis industries in these East Coast states, so let’s connect because together we can go higher!
