Canadian cannabis retailers will now be able to accept and process debit and credit card payments directly through the POS provider, eliminating the need for third-party payment contracts. That’s the latest word from Cova Software.

The cannabis retail software provider says its new Cova Pay will integrate with its Cova Point of Sale platform and be quick and consistent, with “uncompromising security.”

The current payment processing experience for many cannabis retailers in Canada has proven quite costly, taxing, and time consuming, says Denver, CO based Cova.

“As the Canadian cannabis market has matured, retailers have exposed the need for a next-level payment solution that isn’t glitchy, failure-prone, or difficult when resolving issues,” said Gary Cohen, CEO of Cova Software. “As Cova evolves, our mission to simplify the complex and commitment to reliability remain the foundation.”
