Trulieve continued its quest for cannabis gold this week by announcing an exclusive partnership with multi-platinum-selling rapper Wiz Khalifa. The partnership will extend the Grammy and Golden Globe Award-nominated recording artist’s Florida-based brand Khalifa Kush to an expanded market in 2022.
Through the agreement, Trulieve becomes the exclusive producer, processor and retailer of Khalifa Kush branded products beginning this summer, the company said in a statement.
Recording artist and cannabis entrepreneur Wiz Khalifa is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. His debut album “Show and Prove” saw him signed with Warner Bros. and later Atlantic records. His first hit “Say Yeah” charted on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks charts establishing his unique talent as an entertainer. Perhaps prescient of his current passion as a producer of premium cannabis products, in 2010 Wiz Khalifa released the mixtape “Kush and Orange Juice” as a free download.

Khalifa Kush debuted in 2015. The company has seen growth by focusing on high-quality products in legalized cannabis markets. The deal with Trulieve will expand Khalifa Kush’s presence in Florida, and take it into northern markets, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Khalifa Kush products are currently available in select markets including California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
