Women-Led TribeTokes to Introduce Its THC Clean Vaping Line in Massachusetts

TribeTokes, a woman-led creator of premium cannabis wellness and beauty products helmed by investment-trained entrepreneur Degelis Pilla, hopes to be a force in the “clean cannabis vaping” movement on the East Coast.

“Cannabis has shifted from a ‘stoner’ category to a ‘wellness’ category, and the products on shelves need to evolve to meet these new expectations,” Pilla, CEO of TribeTokes, told Marijuana Business Daily in April.

To that end, New York-based cannabis wellness company — which Pilla co-founded with the TribeTokes’ CMO Kymberly Byrnes — announced this week partnering with Blue Box Brands to produce TribeTokes’ first line of Delta-9 THC vaping products. The new, safety-focused vapes will debut later this year in Massachusetts.

“Our mission from day one was to introduce a cleaner vaping product with no fillers or synthetic ingredients, so that consumers who prefer vaping cannabis can do so safely. We started on this journey in 2017 with CBD and have built a loyal brand following of customers who love our formulations,” explains Pilla.

A white-label provider, Blue Box Brands works with a network of licensed cannabis producers, processors and ancillary suppliers in the design, manufacture, market and distribution of brand intellectual properties. The strategic licensing agreement will be a key move in TribeTokes’ transition from CBD e-commerce into regulated THC markets.

“TribeTokes is excited to enter this booming market with the seasoned team at Blue Box Brands, who share our passion for clean products that both look and feel great,” adds co-founder Byrnes. With 20 years as a cannabis professional under her belt, Byrnes is now in charge of shaping TribeTokes’ Conscious Cannabis Project — a website featuring news and commentary in the field of entertainment related to cannabis.

The introduction of the TribeTokes’ vapes into Massachusetts’ fast-growing, adult-use market builds on the company’s established presence in online CBD sales and sales of Tribeauty products in brick & mortar CBD stores nationwide.
