WestPack 2023 to Unwrap New Ideas in Eco-Friendly Packaging

The West Coast’s largest packaging trade show to focus on innovation and sustainability in the cannabis industry.

As consumers steer toward convenient, dynamic and eco-friendly packaging, change is the main constant in cannabis packaging. Enter WestPack, the West Coast’s largest packaging trade show, where engineers, manufacturers and executives swap ideas and meet new business partners. WestPack 2023 will return Feb. 7-9 to the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

Sustainability continues to be a leading trend within the packaging industry with 60% of global consumers and 61% of U.S. consumers using sustainable packaging as a purchasing criterion. Aat WestPack 2023, ttendees can expect to find the latest packaging equipment, supplies and materials.

New for 2023, WestPack will feature “The Pack Place,” sponsored by Packaging Digest,  a new theater on the show floor filled with the latest topics for the industry. The agenda is focused on the three main industries in packaging, with medical device and healthcare topics on Feb. 7, the CannPack Cannabis Packaging Conference on Feb. 8, and food and beverage packaging topics on Feb. 9. Presentations include subjects on sustainability in packaging, sterile packaging, child resistant packaging for the cannabis industry and regulations.

The Pack Place also is where attendees and exhibitors can connect at the end of the day on Tuesday and Wednesday for the Pack networking receptions. Taking place from 4-5 p.m. both days, attendees will be able to relax and meet with industry peers.
