Thanksgiving Anxiety: A fear triggered by being in close quarters with relatives, their political views and excessive questions about your life’s goals and direction … Is it any wonder why “Green Wednesday” (the day before Thanksgiving) is one of the cannabis industry’s leading holidays?

To help table-shy customers ease into their place next to Aunt Minnie, Mint Cannabis of Guadalupe/Tempe, AZ — the state’s only dispensary offering 24-hour service — stands ready to help chill out your turkey day. This Thanksgiving, the dispensary will stay open 135+ hours continuously — from 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27 — to let you prep for the big get together. Along with the Green Wednesday deals, the Mint Cafe is rolling out seasonal offerings of infused-sides and desserts, along with free tacos dished out on Black Friday to keep you fueled for shopping and next-up-to-bat Cyber Monday Specials

100mg cannabis-infused Cranberry sauce should tart up any Thanksgiving-table conversation.

On Green Wednesday (Nov. 23), Mint will also officially mark the opening of its newest dispensary at I-17 and Northern Ave. in Phoenix with giveaways and a ribbon cutting. The first 200 people to visit the new dispensary at 8 a.m. on Nov. 23, will receive a jar of Baby Jeeters or 1/8 of Connected flower.

A cafe of cannabis delights

As Mint’s flagship location, the Guadalupe/Tempe dispensary is home to the Mint Café — the nation’s first cannabis kitchen of its kind. This holiday, the Mint Café will serve cannabis-infused Thanksgiving side dishes (100 mg each), including Gravy (16 oz.), Cranberry Sauce (16 oz.), Garlic Herb Butter (4 oz.) and Cornbread (8-by-8-inch) for $15 each. Sides must be ordered by Tuesday, Nov. 22, for pickup on Green Wednesday, Nov. 23.

In addition, cannabis-infused pumpkin and pecan pies ($15 each) will be available at all Mint dispensary locations in Arizona (two dispensaries in Phoenix, one in Guadalupe/Tempe, and one in Mesa). Pies can be ordered ahead of time or purchased on-site at any Mint dispensary in Arizona on the same day, while supplies last.

On Black Friday (Nov. 25), the cannabis operator will offer cannabis-infused coffee from the kitchen of its Guadalupe/Tempe dispensary to fuel an early morning of whirlwind shopping. All four of the Mint’s dispensaries in metro Phoenix will keep the momentum going by offering free uninfused tacos in their parking lots, from noon to 8 p.m. that day.

To wind down the holiday week and celebrate Cyber Monday (Nov. 28), the Mint will offer a 20% discount on all online orders picked up from its Guadalupe/Tempe location that day. Orders can be placed for drive-thru or in-store pickup. In addition, all four of the Mint’s dispensaries in metro Phoenix are offering a buy-one-get-one deal on any one item in the store during the month of November.
