Mint Cannabis celebrated the official opening of its fourth Arizona dispensary in Phoenix by giving back to local veterans.

On Friday, Nov. 11, the Mint donated $1 from each pre-roll sold at its newest dispensary to Friends of Freedom, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that helps members of the military and Veterans locally by assisting them with rent, utilities, car repairs, military transition (employment search, building resumes, and purchase of job-required equipment to include suits), and even donated cars.

In addition, all four Mint dispensary locations in Arizona (two in Phoenix, one in Guadalupe/Tempe and one in Mesa) doubled their year-round Veteran discount (which is typically 22%) to 44% starting on Friday.

“Since our inception in 2016, we have been on a smart, steady growth trajectory in Arizona,” said Eivan Shahara, Co-Founder and CEO of Mint Cannabis. “We plan to continue to grow and expand our brand. We hope to broaden our footprint by opening additional dispensaries in the state during the next few years.”
