Eden Pharma, a leading player in Europe’s CBD health and wellness industry, has announced the appointment of Mike Parker as its chief operating officer and director to the board. In his role, Parker will develop and execute new strategies and lead the company’s marketing and finance functions.

Having worked for more than a decade within cannabis, medical tech and agricultural, Parker led and advised companies serving big tobacco, heavy industry and entrepreneurial efforts.

Eden Pharma has carved itself a leading role in the European market as a producer and wellness retailer of bespoke cannabis products — both recreational and medical. Founded in 2017 by British writer and cannabis visionary Martin Booth, Eden Pharma recently acquired a 5,000-acre cannabis as the site for what is believed to be the largest cannabis facility in the world.

“The opportunity laid out in the vision of Martin Booth and the company is immense for the cannabis industry,” says Parker. “It pleases me greatly that the world will be able to see what benefits African-grown cannabis can offer, how the company will be able to create new products and value for partners everywhere.”
