CBD Move Free and Arbor Hemp Partner on Sleep, Weight-Loss Products

CBD Move Free, a maker of CBD relief products is expanding its product line by partnering with Arbor Hemp, a Colorado-based hemp extract producer. The companies are launching two co-branded products, Sleep soft gels and Slim soft gels.

Arbor Hemp says its full spectrum extracts are put through clinical trials to measure their effectiveness as plant-sourced solutions. The CBD Move/Free Arbor-branded Sleep and Slim soft gels leveraged a 90-day, randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled human study that measured a variety of physical factors, such as weight, BMI, girth, anxiety, appetite, pain and mood.

Participants taking active doses of the sleep product saw improvement in sleep, says Arbor Hemp, especially deep sleep known as REM. Time spent in deep sleep spiked from roughly 90 minutes in Week 1, to 360 minutes in Week 13, the companies report.

One group of participants took 66mg of hemp extract per day and experienced a peak average of 276% increase in deep sleep after four weeks. Another group that administered 132mg per night increased their time spent in deep sleep by an average of 307%, reports Arbor Hemp. This same 132mg group of participants increased their REM sleep by 50% after only two weeks of consistent doses.

The extracts found in Slim soft gels were studied as an aid to weight loss and reduce food cravings by leveraging a rare and non-intoxicating cannabinoid, THCV. The companies say THCV has the potential to modify dopamine reward cycles and reduce the chemical incentive most people feel to consume fatty or sugary foods.

In 2021, researchers assessed the potential of Hemp Arbor’s extract in a 90-day, randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled human study. The subjects of the trial had no knowledge of the study’s focus on weight management. Results from the study concluded that 100% of the 125 participants taking active doses of Arbor Hemp Extract reduced their appetite. Subjects reported an average hunger reduction of 61% with 40% less frequent food cravings.

Each box of CBD Move Free Arbor Sleep and CBD Move Free Arbor Slim provides 30 soft gels developed with 1000mg of Hemp extract. Both soft gels will be available later this month on both CBD Move Free’s website, cbdmovefree.com and Arbor Hemp’s website, arborhemp.com.
