About Robert Beasley

As the leader of Florida-based FLUENT and parent company Cansortium Inc., Robert Beasley provides deep expertise in cannabis law and business development for the multistate operator. FLUENT is one of Florida’s top cannabis companies and has licenses in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Texas. The native Floridian got his start in cannabis by working closely with lawmakers and regulators to initiate the medical cannabis program in his home state. From there, he pivoted his law practice to focus on the cannabis industry and served as a consultant, overseeing the development of businesses within the emerging cannabis marketplace in multiple states. After serving the Board of Directors for FLUENT as a consultant and assisting in the revitalization of one of Florida’s largest vertically integrated medical cannabis companies, Robert was appointed CEO in September 2020. His background includes working with cannabis companies in Oregon, California and Washington, D.C., on licensure, establishing financial networks and construction of multiple cultivation and processing facilities. Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
