About Nick Pateras

Nick Pateras is Managing Director, Europe at Materia, where he oversees the company’s operations across Germany, Malta and the UK. Materia is an EU GMP certified manufacturer and distributor of medical cannabis and CBD products across the burgeoning European market.

Previously, Nick served as Vice President, Strategy at Lift & Co., Canada’s leading cannabis education and insights platform. He is a regular speaker at cannabis conferences across North America and Europe and taught the Cannabis Business Fundamentals course at George Brown College in Toronto in 2018-19.

Prior to his time in cannabis, Nick spent several years in the pharmaceutical sector with Johnson & Johnson Inc, managing various category-leading OTC and Health & Beauty businesses.

About Andrew Bonello

Andrew Bonello is the President of ReLeaf Malta and, has since 2019, worked tirelessly to represent the voice of cannabis consumers in Malta. Andrew has been actively meeting various local actors and international experts to discuss issues related to cannabis, human rights and public health, more specifically advocating for a more just, humane and non-criminal approach. Today, Andrew remains committed to push forward for a truly decriminalized and regulated approach to cannabis, placing the well-being of consumers at the helm of every decision.
